Viola "Jean" Simpson passed away on Sept. 10, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Jean was 93.
Jean was the loving mother of four children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jean also felt very blessed to have thoughtful, caring and supportive friends, relatives and neighbors. She was an accomplished bridge player and one of her favorite pastimes was having a game of cards with family and loved ones.
Jean will be remembered by all who knew her as simply a kind and loving person.
The family wishes to thank Mercy Hospice and the Hospice Team for the compassionate care they provided their mother.
Jean would want everyone to remember her in their own way.
