Pearl Singelstad, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died April 28, 2015, at the Ed and Joan Hemphill Hospice Unit at St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness. Services: 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church, by
Pastor Pat Fish. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at Teahen Funeral Home on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Jon; three children, Candy (Jack) Davis of Luzerne, Rita Delorenzo of Newton and Bob (Jenny) Eaglin of Knoxville; four grand-children, Cheyanne, Raymond, Raelene and Savannah; three great-grandchildren, Abigail, Kyler and Josselyn; three sisters, Marna Swank of Queen Creek, Ariz., Jean Boys of Urbana, Ill., and Juanita Andrews of Cedar Rapids.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert Eaglin; two brothers and two sisters.
Pearl was born Oct. 10, 1939, in West Branch, the daughter of William and Esther Sims Holland. She married Robert Eaglin. He died in 1982. She then married Jon Singelstad on April 28, 1984, in Cedar Rapids.
Pearl was a member of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Pearl enjoyed crocheting, putting together jigsaw puzzles and designing cards on the computer. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Charlie.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church or UnityPoint Hospice.
