Hawkeyes vault into top 10

Iowa is a top-10 men's basketball team.
The 14-3 Hawkeyes vaulted 10 spots to No. 9, their highest ranking since 2002, in this week's USA Today Coaches Poll after wins over then-No. 4 Michigan State and Michigan last week to improve to 5-0 in the Big Ten.
Iowa is the biggest mover in the poll this week and second-highest Big Ten team, behind No. 5 Maryland (16-2). Michigan State (16-3) fell to No. 10 after a pair of losses, Purdue (15-3) is No. 22 and Indiana (15-3) is No. 23.
Oklahoma (15-1) is the new top-ranked team ahead of Monday night's matchup at Iowa State. The Cyclones (13-4) dropped to No. 21 following an overtime loss at Texas.
Last week's No. 1, Kansas, is No. 3, behind North Carolina. Elsewhere in the Big 12, West Virginia is No. 7 and Baylor is ranked 15th.
