San Antonio, Texas
Pamela Weiss-Martin, 46, died Feb, 11, 2014, surrounded by her family, following a short illness with cancer. A funeral service was held Feb. 18, at Concordia Lutheran Church, San Antonio, Texas.
A celebration on life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at St. Johns Lutheran Church, rural Victor. A private internment will be held at a later date.
Pam was born the daughter of Maynard and Lois (Kieswetter) Weiss of Victor on Oct. 15, 1967.
She was a graduate of HLV High School with the class of 1986 and attended Hamilton Business College in Cedar Rapids. After graduation, she worked at Amana Refrigeration until she moved to San Antonio, where she worked for Pearsons.
Pam and Brian were married at Fort San Huston Chapel on April 3, 1999.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Sydney and Kassidy; a sister, Beverly Paulson, Gilbert Ariz.; brother, Greg, Williamsburg; parents, Maynard and Lois Weiss, Victor; a nephew, Dustin Gensley, Cedar Rapids; niece, Emily Gensley Brussels, Belgium; a great-nephew, Ayden Gensley Cedar Rapids; her in-laws, Ben and Gwen Martin Roswell, Ga.; aunts; uncles; and many friends.
She enjoyed cooking, roses, plants and shopping.
