Dennis M. Keeley, 76, son of Nell C. (nee Morrow) and Leonard E. Keeley, born in Iowa City, Iowa, on Aug. 3, 1940, died June 7, 2017, in St. George, Utah.
The Keeley family were longtime Iowa residents, settling in Cedar Rapids, where Dennis graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1958, after which he joined the U.S. Navy. The Navy took Dennis to California, where he spent many decades and enjoyed a successful career after leaving military service. Dennis will be remembered for his quick wit, his love of dancing, golf, basketball, a good Iowa tenderloin and his unwavering perseverance.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Kathy (Wilmovsky) Keeley and her children, Richard (Cindy), Ronda (Ladd) and Ron; two daughters, Theresa Ann and Stephanie Ann; one sister, Maureen Keeley; and two brothers, Mickey Keeley and Tim Keeley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Theresa Ann Keeley and Nita Keeley Leehy; and one brother, Pat Keeley.
