Iowa's 4 basketball recruits posting solid senior seasons
Future Hawkeyes Devyn Marble, Ben Brust, Zach McCabe and Cody Larson all are having solid senior seasons for their respective high schools.
Marble, a 6-foot-6 son of Iowa's all-time leading scorer Roy Marble, averages 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5 assists a game for Southfield-Lathrup (Mich.) High School. Here's a link to a recent story about him.
Brust's offensive accomplishments are well-documented. Brust, a 6-2 guard at Mundelein (Ill.) High School, recently scored eight of his team's final 10 points in a three-point win. Brust averages 31.3 points a game.
McCabe, a 6-7 forward from Sioux City Heelan, scored 25 points against Le Mars last week. Through the first four games this season he averaged 19.5 points a game.
Cody Larson, a 6-9 forward from Sioux Falls (S.D.) Roosevelt,
scored 29 points in a game against a cross-town rival.
