Saucer, Edward G.
Edward G. Saucer, 81, of Marion, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Pastor David Lenth. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; his sons, Brian of Cedar Rapids and Daniel (Lianne) of Sanford, Fla.; grandchildren, Logan and Janele Saucer; sisters-in-law, Alyce Saucer of Auburn, N.Y., and Darlene (Donald) Gilster of Postville; brothers-in-law, Dale Blumhagen of Bloomfield and Gerald (Marie) Blumhagen of Castalia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, George; and a son, Steve.
