McCartney, Maycell P. (Fay)
Maycell P. (Fay) McCartney, 56, of Rushville, Ill., passed away 1:55 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her home.
She was born Dec. 24, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis (Gleason) Fay. She married Jeffry L. McCartney on Sept. 20, 1996, in Rushville; he survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Marcy Loper and husband John and Lindsey Sabraw and husband Daniel; two stepsons, Doug McCartney and wife Kathy and Andrew McCartney; one stepdaughter, Amy Johnson and husband Brett; three grandchildren, Logan and Riley Loper and Daelen McCartney; two sisters, Martha “Marty” Hochstatter and husband Ben and Shelly Svoboda; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids at 2 p.m. Friday, July 19.
