Giddings, John Lewis
John Lewis Giddings passed away Dec. 27, 2011.
John is survived by his wife, Karen (Levsen), formerly of Olin and currently of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; sons, Trenton, Nicholas and John “Everett”; mother, Connie Logan; father, Dorance Giddings and stepmother, Gay; brother, Doug; sister, Elizabeth; and father- and mother-in-law, Don and Mary Levsen.
John graduated from Gaither High School in 1988. He served in the U.S. Navy for eight years as a nuclear lab technician aboard the USS Sunfish. Afterward, he was employed by Logan Lumber and obtained his BA degree, with Honors from USF, majoring in electrical engineering. He was currently employed by Automated Controls of Tampa, Inc.
John was a loving husband and father. His laugh and smile will forever brighten the lives he touched.
The memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Cypress Point Community Church, Tampa, Fla.
