Wiggins, Matina Dawn
Funeral services for Matina Dawn Wiggins, 50, of Mechanicsville, who died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Fry Funeral Home, Tipton, with the Rev. Carol Slaton officiating. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, before the 5 p.m. service.

Matina was born April 3, 1962, the daughter of Henry Marvin and Dorothy June Figenbaum Ray in Mattoon, Ill. She graduated from Mattoon High School and received her LPN license from Kirkwood in 1997. On May 18, 1997, Matina was united in marriage to Thomas Allen Wiggins in Tipton.
Matina is survived by her husband, Thomas Wiggins of Mechanicsville; daughters, Misty (Bobby) Bland of Oxford, Miss., and Latishia Lovell of Mechanicsville; son, Clyde (Sabrina) Lovell of Keystone; four grandchildren, Leah, Kaydance, Thomas (T.J.) and Trevin; mother-in-law, Marilyn Chase of Mechanicsville; sisters, Marsha Bryant of Cowden, Ill., and Marcella Sager of Charleston, Ill.; brother, Mark Ray of Clinton; and half brother, Glenn Ray of Sullivan, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, James Merritt; and half-sister, Becky Emel.
