Richardson, Barbara E.

Barbara E. Richardson, 75, of Marion, went to be with the Lord Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. John Louk. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Ralph; children, Stephen (Eleanor) Richardson of Ely, Cynthia (Don) Carpenter of Fayette, Michael (Gayle) Richardson of Marion and Cheryl (Mark) Millsap of Olathe, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Carol Laughman.

 Barbara was born Sept. 16, 1934, the daughter of George and Alberta (Fry) Laughman.
