Henson, Larry E.
Larry E. Henson, 55, of Springville, died Friday, March 19, 2010. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, March 25, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Ronald Morrow.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina (Mark) Kirchmann of Springville; his mother, Jerry Milner of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Misty Fry, Austin, Haley and Kelly Kirchmann; and his siblings, Kenneth David Henson of Boone, Iowa, Mark Henson of Galesburg, Ill., Jerry Sue (Raul) Galindo of Princeville, Ill., and Tamara (Tye) Hankinson of Williamsfield, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward; several aunts and uncles; and Christina's mother, Cherylann.
Larry was born May 15, 1954, the son of Edward and Jerry (Bates) Henson, in Decatur, Ala. He served in the United States Air Force. Larry enjoyed his travel during his time in the service and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
