Fuller, H. Pauline
H. Pauline Fuller, 97, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Pomona, Ill., died Saturday, June 15, 2013, in Hiawatha.
Mrs. Fuller was born in Pomona, Ill., on July 14, 1915, a daughter to the late Harry and Edna (Smith) Nobel.
Mrs. Fuller was united in marriage to Raymond Bruce Fuller in St. Louis, Mo., on Sept. 4, 1937. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1980. Mrs. Fuller was a homemaker and worked for a short time at the Pomona Post Office. She was also a member of the Mount Pleasant Jerusalem Church near Pomona.
Pauline enjoyed times with her friends, quilting and embroidery. She made many quilts for her family and friends.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kendal and Clarice Fuller of Cedar Rapids; a sister, V. Maxine Hickam of Murphysboro, Ill.; three grandchildren, John (Denise) Fuller, Julie (Kevin) McBride and Janet (Brian) Fuller; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Danny, Kyndall and Emerson.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, J. Riley Nobel; a grandson, James Fuller; and a great-grandson, Jimmy Purdy.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, at Crawshaw Funeral Home in Murphysboro, Ill., with Pastor Rick Sutton officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Jerusalem Cemetery near Pomona. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
