Steinocher, Dorothy Mae
Dorothy Mae Steinocher, 85, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born in Mechanicsville, Iowa, on May 10, 1927, to the late Harold and Libby (Hartman) Longerbeam.
Survivors include her children, Tom Steinocher and wife Janet of Frisco, Texas, Jim Steinocher of Austin, Texas, Linda Mixson and husband Carroll of Manor, Texas, David Steinocher and Rose Reinhardt of Grass Lake, Mich., Rick Steinocher of Euless, Texas, and Lisa Becker and husband Terry of Rogers, Ark; sister, Betty Edwards of Fulton, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, with a prayer service being held at 7 p.m. Burial: 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, John Steinocher; brother, Lloyd Longerbeam; and brother-in-law, Richard.
