Solon
R. Steve Durr, 68, of Solon, passed on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at Lantern Park care facility in Coralville after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at Brosh Chapel in Solon, followed by a celebration of life gathering from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in The Avacentre at Brosh Chapel. A private graveside service, with full military rites, will be at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Des Moines.
