Let’s work toward peaceful resolution

People in the United States, both private citizens and government officials, are being ridiculously critical of Israel. Israel is once again fighting for its right to exist.
Let's remember who they are fighting, this is Hamas. A group that we as a country recognize as a terrorist organization, a group that also says it will destroy Israel and every Jew. Hamas started this conflict by kidnapping and murdering three Jewish boys. Hamas also launched five rockets before Israel responded. Israel is going out of the way to drop messages in areas where they are going to be attacking, giving the civilians 24 hours to leave the area.
However, what was not reported is that the Hamas media is telling the civilian populations to stay where they are. Hamas tells its people they know Israel will be blamed in the court of public opinion if there are civilian deaths. Many people criticized Israel for attacking a hospital and a refugee camp. However, after investigation, it was discovered and is being reported in Europe that those rockets came from Hamas, they were aimed at Israel and fell short of their target.
That's a big criticism from the United States and the United Nation, that was not deserved. The Gazette has done a good job of reporting the facts. We need to do our part to work for a peaceful resolution. And we need to stand with allies when they are right and not breed more anti-Semitism in the world.
