Kress, Laverne 'Bud'
Laverne “Bud” Kress, 87, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a short illness.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Quasqueton Union Church, Quasqueton, Iowa. Burial will be at Quasqueton Cemetery in Quasqueton, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Fawcett's in Winthrop and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church in Quasqueton. Fawcett Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Winthrop is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by his two sons, Russell (Debby) Kress of Rowley and Kevin (Nancy) Kress of Rowley; one daughter, Debra (Richard) Espe of Rowley; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Youngblut of Washburn.
