Thill, Helen Louise
Helen Louise Thill, 96, of Manchester, died at the Good Neighbor Home on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012. Mass of Resurrection: 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty officiating. Visitation: 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and special friends, John and Rose Schechtman and Patti Scherbring, all of Manchester.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Verle Thill on March 7, 1985; one brother, Arnold; a special aunt, Gertrude Strohmeyer; and her parents.
Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic School.
