Keith W. Stanfield, 67, of Iowa City, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, at Heritage Home in Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with burial following at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Keith Wayne Stanfield was born June 10, 1949, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Ronald O. and Doris C. (Maxey) Stanfield. Keith will be remembered for his strong will and love for his family, his joy driving truck and working on cars, watching NASCAR, old Westerns and the time he spent fishing.
Keith's family includes his significant other, Marcia Carlson; children, Keith Stanfield (Marci) of Washington; daughters, Melanie Cline (Eric) of Kalona, Charissa Schiltz (Robert) of Le Mars and Tristan Stanfield of Iowa City; stepsons, Dave Hicks (Jenni) of Tiffin and John Hicks (Brandi) of North Liberty; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Tom Stanfield (Jeanne Hayslett) of Iowa City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Anthony, in 1985.
