Polley, James Eldon

James Eldon Polley, 65, of Anamosa, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A memorial visitation will take place Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Clark Alumni House at Coe College in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will take place 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Clark Alumni House.

Survivors include his companion, Susan Hubbell of Cedar Rapids; and Jenn Petsche of Cedar Rapids, Tom (Nilsa) Petsche of Glendale, Calif., and Julie Hubbell of Cedar Rapids. Also surviving are several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

James was born Feb. 6, 1947, to Cecil and Ruth (nee Cline) Polley in Des Moines. He attended UNI and received his BA and master's degrees from UNI. He later attended Coe College, earning a degree in accounting. He worked as a technical support manager for Ideal Computer Systems.

James will be missed deeply by all who knew him.

Memorials may be given in his honor to St. Luke's Hospice.
