Wullner, Peggy Jo
Peggy Jo Wullner
Peggy Jo Wullner died Feb. 28, 2013, in St. James, Mo., after a long illness. She was 60 years old. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Ascension Lutheran Church in Marion, by Pastor Linda Livingston. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.
Peggy was born Nov. 22, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Charles (Gibby) and Dorothy (Wieditz) Gibson. She was an avid outdoors woman and enjoyed camping with family and friends. Throughout her life she had dogs, cats, horses, donkeys and even a skunk and a raccoon as pets. Her passion was her horses and she seemed happiest when riding them.
Peggy worked in a veterinarian's office for many years followed by employment with Nordstrom's. After moving to Missouri 10 years ago, she formed her own photography company called, “Sweet Pea Productions.” She photographed horses and riders on various trail rides.
She is survived by a son, Chad Fleming (Krista Hird) of Marion; a daughter, Kristin (Will) Ellis of Magnolia, Ark.; grandchildren, Aubrie, Trenton and Colton; a sister, Kristie (Les) Mills of Manassas, Va.; a brother, Guy (Shannon) Gibson of Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews.
