Zeadow, Max Willard
Max Willard Zeadow, 83, of Center Point, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, from complications of a fall. Private graveside services will be at Alice Cemetery, Center Point. Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is serving the family.
Max is survived by two sons, Christopher (Sally) of Shellsburg and Jim of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Diane (Tim) Ruggles of Frisco, Texas and Gerry Piper of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Max was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Mildred; second wife, Martha; and son-in-law, Hal Piper.
Max was born June 10, 1929, in Scotch Grove, the son of George and Loa (Townsend) Zeadow. He worked in maintenance at Wilson Foods, retiring in 1988. He was a member of American Legion Walker Post 376.
Max will be remembered as a hard working farmer who will be missed by his family.
