Arizona's football team has truly gone to training camp - at a U.S. Army post in the desert

Will Arizona find an extra edge from lessons learned at U.S. Army base Fort Huachuca, and apply it in its Sept. 18 home football game against Iowa?
For the third straight year, Mike Stoops' Wildcats have spent some of their preseason camp at the base 75 miles southeast of Tucson.
This weekend, the New York Times had this feature on what Stoops hopes his team can gain from such an experience. An excerpt:
“It's Boy Scouts gone rogue,” said Sgt. First Class Craig Hannum, who administered the exercise. “They're so used to being told what to do; this is where you find out about peer leadership, which is the hardest kind. It's going to test their resolve, patience, strength and endurance.”
The Wildcats were back in Tucson Saturday, but their evening scrimmage was cut way short because of lightning.
"Defensively," Stoops said, "we're still not playing like we need to."
