Arendt, Lynia E.
Lynia E. Arendt, 63, of Marion, died of natural causes at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2009. Memorial services: 4 p.m. Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Church by Carol Mart. Friends may visit at the church after 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is serving the family.
Survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Craig) Foote, and grandchildren, Emily, Jackson and Ryan Foote, all of Cedar Rapids.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Lynia Elaine was born Nov. 18, 1945, in Jackson County, Mo., the daughter of Austin S. and Dorothy L. Harper Moudy. Lynia was a registered nurse in the home health care field.
Lynia's greatest joys included spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and square dancing.
