Cedar Rapids police talk to stabbing victim at University Hospital
Cedar Rapids Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident that allegedly happened in Cedar Rapids late Tuesday night.
According to a news release, officers responded to the University Hospital in Iowa City at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, for a report of a stabbing victim who had arrived for treatment.
The victim was treated for injury to the ear and jaw and claimed the stabbing occurred in Cedar Rapids. The injuries are not reported to be life-threatening.
The case remains open for investigation and no further information has been released at this time.
