Hollrah, Billy Henry
Billy Henry Hollrah, 70, of Bella Vista, Ark., died at his home on Friday, Jan. 29th from complications related to cancer with his wife, Barbara, and son, Bruce, at his side. The family will receive friends at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial service will be at the United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road, Bella Vista, Ark. at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Billy was born in Sac County, Iowa, on March 21, 1939, the son of Lewis and Helen Hollrah. He graduated from Amana High School in 1958, and was united in marriage to Barbara Zuber of Amana in 1959. There are four children from the union: Brenda (Charlie) Hurdle, Bart Hollrah, Bonnie (Eric) Olson, and Bruce Hollrah; one grandchild, Kristy Kilpatrick (Brenda); and one step-grandchild, Courtney Hurdle, all living in Iowa.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy; brother, Gerald Gene; and other loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, their four children and grandchildren, all of Iowa; his three sisters, Virginia Remsburg of Phoenix, Janet Slaymaker of Marengo, and Sandy (Robert) Fuller of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Robert (Velma Kay) Hollrah of Phoenix, and Duane Hollrah of Rogers, Ark.; and numerous nieces an nephews.
