Dighton, Strad Lee
Strad Lee Dighton, 50, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 25, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Iowa Cremation is assisting with arrangements.
Strad was born Oct. 3, 1960, to Vernon and Ethel Dighton in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include his spouse, Gabby Elliott; a son, Strad Vernon Dighton; daughters, Chanelle Kramer and Misty Ryden; a brother, Joe (Carol) Dighton; and sisters; Mary Ann (Rick) Randall, Joyce (Bob) Slaymaker, Linda Dighton and Verna Bruner.
Also surviving are four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Kenny.
Strad was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
A memorial fund has been established.
