Pepper, Kenneth H. 'Kenny'

Kenneth H. “Kenny” Pepper, 88, of Washington, Iowa, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Washington County Hospital. Celebration of Life services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jim Stiles officiating. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Sunday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 until 4 Sunday afternoon. Interment, with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29, will take place at the Keota Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Pepper of Washington; daughter, Shirley Conklin and husband Craig of Sigourney; daughter, Carla Pepper-Kleese of Washington; two grandchildren, Chad Pepper of Washington and Richelle Slaymaker and husband Marcus of DeWitt; five great-grandchildren, Cashden, Ryen and Teage Pepper and Layton and Liza Slaymaker; and two brothers, Roger “Red” Pepper and wife Gerry of Nixa, Mo.; and William Pepper and wife Pat of Mexico, Mo.

Memorials have been established for Lending Hands or the United Methodist Church.
