Blum hosting job fair for veterans June 30
CEDAR RAPIDS - U.S. Rep. Rod Blum will host his first Veterans Job Fair & Services Expo June 30 in Cedar Rapids.
Employers from all over Iowa will be attending the Job Fair looking to hire area veterans, he said.
'Veterans have the leadership qualities and practical skills that employers are looking for, and I'm looking forward to helping connect them with Iowa employers,” Blum said. 'We're excited about the many participating employers, groups and organizations to make this event a successful way we can give back to those who have served our nation.”
The Veterans Job Fair & Services Expo will be from 1 to 5 p.m. June 30 at Veterans Memorial Building, 50 2nd Ave. Bridge.
