Letter: Vote Gull for Linn Supervisor

After seeing the performance of the Democratic county supervisors in budgeting and relations with the county auditor, I wondered who might step forward as a Republican to make a sound fiscal contribution to county government.

I was pleased to learn Tim Gull is running for District 3 Linn County Supervisor. He desires to expand the environment for future growth in our community. He wants to bring responsible fiscal decision making to county budgets and expenditures.

Gull is a University of Northern Iowa grad, retired former Army/Army National Guard Officer and local businessman, married with two daughters who both graduated from high school in Cedar Rapids and attended college locally. If elected, he will serve us with the same ethics he learned as an Iowa farm boy and Army officer.

Vote for Gull in the Republican primary on June 7.
