Joe Driver, 77, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 12, 2014, at Northbrook Manor after a long illness. Memorial services with military rites at 11 a.m.

Memorial Chapel Mausoleum columbarium. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include his wife, Rosetta; three daughters, Jackie Driver and Kathy (Michael) Cole, all of Cedar Rapids and Rosalyn Driver of Chicago; sons, Joe (Desiree) of Texas and twin sons, Donald and Ronald (Tanya), all of Bowling Brook, Ill.; three brothers, Charles, George and Tom; and one sister, Millie.
He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Joe was born March 27, 1937, in Louise, Miss., the son of George and Lilly Linear Driver. He married
Rosetta Brown on June 28, 1959, in Louise, Miss. Joe worked in security at the Chicago Art Institute for several years.
He was a member of the Lions Club, had a third degree black belt in karate and proudly served in the Army during the Korean War.
He enjoyed gardening and time spent with his beloved family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
