Freeman, Earl Kenneth
Earl Kenneth Freeman, 79, of Dumont, formerly of Winthrop, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, after a lengthy illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 28, at New Hope Methodist Church, Dumont, with military memorial services. Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church. Fawcett Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Winthrop is assisting the family with arrangements.
Surviving family includes his wife, Twila of Dumont; his daughters, Pam Frost of Cedar Falls and Janet Christensen of Waterloo; three stepchildren, Doug and Jeff Oitzman of Gilbert, Ariz., and Tim Oitzman of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; three grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Dick Freeman of Fairfax; one sister, Kathryn Fawcett of Independence; and one sister-in-law, Lucille Freeman of Sumner.
