Teacher at Price Lab School accused of providing alcohol to students

Authorities are investigating an allegation that a teacher at Malcolm Price Laboratory School gave alcohol to students.
Cedar Falls police received a report that the teacher recently provided alcohol to students at his home. The teacher's name has not been released.
The laboratory school is run by the University of Northern Iowa.
University spokesman James O'Connor told the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier that the teacher was placed on administrative leave in the fall. He declined to explain why.
The Iowa Board of Regents voted in February to close the pre-kindergarten-through-12th-grade school because of budget cuts. A group of parents and teachers has filed a lawsuit to block the closure.
