Truelson, Stephanie 'Stevie'

Stephanie “Stevie” Truelson, 51, of Solon, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Solon Care Center after an extended illness. A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday, July 26, at Pinicon Ridge Park in Central City at Plains Camp Ground from 4 to 7 p.m.

Stephanie is survived by two sons, Jason and Jacob Wood, and a daughter, Molly Harford, all of Central City; her father, Arthur Willey of Flat Bend, N.C.; her mother, Nancy Etoll of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Eric Willey of Fort Madison; husband, Michael “Cub” Truelson; and a dear friend, Penny Cooper. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; two cousins, Ray-Meeks-Mosley and Kimberly Kriz; and a special aunt, Pat Nielsen.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Stephanie Marie Truelson was born Dec. 4, 1960, to Arthur Willey and Nancy Adkins Willey in Burlington, Iowa.

Stevie always loved the “wind in her hair.”
