Westbound Interstate 80 to close near Coralville due to semi crash
UPDATE: Interstate 80 westbound at exit 246 will close to traffic at noon today for the removal and recovery of a loaded semi-trailer truck, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Traffic will be routed north on Highway 1 to west on U.S. 30 back south on Interstate 380 to Interstate 80.
The closure is expected to last until 3 p.m., Iowa City officials said. Use caution and expect delays if traveling in this area.
A semi crash has reduced Interstate 80 westbound near Coralville to a single lane.
