Larson, Thomas L.
Thomas L. Larson, 61, of 113 E. Main St., Anamosa, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, after a long illness. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Ryan (Jennifer), a brother, Paul (Sally), and his mother, Dorothy, all of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by a granddaughter, Grace; and his best friend, Dave Condit of Anamosa.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a son, Chad.
Tom was born March 29, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Richard and Dorothy Jones Larson. He was a carpenter and worked for several local contractors. He was a member of AA for over 20 years and enjoyed time spent with his friends and family.
A memorial fund has been established in Tom's name.
