Hadenfeldt, Pauline 'Annie'
Pauline "Annie" Hadenfeldt, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died at St. Luke's Hospital on Friday, July 8, 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday by Cedar Memorial Certified Celebrant Julie Freese at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Everyone is invited to share memories at a reception with the family at noon Thursday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 400 Third Ave. SW.
Survivors include children, Bobbie Blumenshine of Fort Collins, Colo., Jackie MacLaren, Fred Hadenfeldt and Rebekkah Hadenfeldt, all of Cedar Rapids, and Kyle (Shirley) Hadenfeldt of Springville; siblings, Margaret Henecke and Bill Filson, both of Cedar Rapids, Dorothy Salow of Palm Beach, Fla., and Jim Kirby of Kingsport, Tenn.; and grandchildren, Kyla Hadenfeldt, Gina Repke and Jason Blumenshine.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale; and infant daughter, Marguerite.
Pauline was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Birmingham, the daughter of Earl and Virgie Kirby. She married Dale Hadenfeldt on Nov. 12, 1950. He died in 1971. She was a pharmaceutical and city courier for many years.
Pauline liked to garden, cook, do crafts, sew and bird watch. She could fix anything with duct tape and a bungee cord.
