Holt, Phil E.
Phil E. Holt, 76, of 2142 Chandler St. SW, Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. William Harnish will officiate. Private entombment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Debbra; two sons, Nat Evan Holt and Paul Steven Holt; a daughter-in-law, Diane Dibrell; and two grandchildren, Kasey Carolyn Holt and Nicholas Hunter Holt, all of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Carolyn Holt.
Phil was born Jan. 12, 1934, in Malden, Mass. He married Debbra Galland on August 23, 1981, in Los Angeles, Calif. Phil was an electrical engineer for The Aerospace Corporation in California. He had been a member of the Rotary Club and enjoyed sailing, scuba diving and running.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
