It is so important to support women leaders who have stepped forward to provide balance, perspective and leadership. Otherwise, we are sadly missing out on the capabilities, experiences and skills that women bring to public office.
As a Linn County supervisor since 1996, Lu Barron is one of those women. Her dedication, knowledge of issues and overall care and concern for the citizens is second to none.
Lu is active in our community and her voice is heard on many fronts, including jobs, economic development, disaster recovery, flood mitigation, aging services and county and city planning.
Her involvement includes the National Association of Counties' board of directors. A full list of her background and accomplishments is at www.lubarron.com
Vote for Lu Barron for District 1 supervisor. She will continue her work to make Linn County a great place to live and work for all.
