Cooper good alternative for governor of Iowa
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Oct. 28, 2010 4:18 pm
Unless a miracle or catastrophe happens, depending upon your point of view, Terry Branstad will be Iowa's next governor. Once he takes office there won't be much change. As Democrats have accurately noted on
Terrylovestaxes.com, the former governor loves taxes every bit as much as the current governor does.
Rather than voting with the herd or staying home in disgust, send a message that you have had enough of paying more taxes. Vote for Eric Cooper of the Libertarian Party. To sweeten the deal, if Cooper gets at least 2 percent of the vote, that gains the Libertarian Party major party status so it can put even more pressure on the major parties to make the government smaller.
Cooper's Web page says it all: Cooper
