Roughriders to play Muskegon in playoffs

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders finally know their first opponent in the United States Hockey League playoffs.
They'll play the Muskegon Lumberjacks in a best-of-5 second-round series that begins Wednesday night at 7:05 at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. The second game is Friday night at The Stable, before the series shifts to Michigan for Games 3 and 4.
A deciding Game 5 would be back in Cedar Rapids on April 27.
Muskegon dispatched of Team USA in two straight road games in the first round, closing out the best-of-3 series Saturday night, 5-2. The Lumberjacks went 24-28-8 for 56 points in the regular season to Cedar Rapids' Anderson Cup winning 42-12-6, 90 points.
The RoughRiders and Lumberjacks played four times in the regular season, each winning a shootout game. Cedar Rapids also won, 5-1, at home and Muskegon won at home, 5-0.
The series will feature the Megna brothers. RoughRiders captain Jayson Megna was his team's second-leading scorer in the regular season. Younger brother Jaycob Megna is a defenseman for Muskegon.
