SOLON - A Solon man has been charged with first-degree robbery based on allegations he attempted to rob a Solon pharmacy at knifepoint Tuesday.
Gregory J. Engrav, 36, entered Solon Drug, 411 E. Haganman Lane, at 2:38 p.m. Tuesday with his face partially covered, the Johnson County Sheriff's Department reported.
Holding a knife, Engrav demanded prescription medications, deputies said.
The criminal complaint does not say whether he got the drugs before he left the pharmacy and got into a white Ford Taurus.
The car was registered to Engrav, and the pharmacy clerk identified him as the robber, deputies reported.
First-degree robbery is a Class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Engrav is being held in the Johnson County Jail on bond of $100,000 cash or surety.
