Nov. 22, 2013 6:15 pm
IOWA CITY -- Iowa's front-line depth was on display against Pennsylvania tonight.
Iowa's Jarrod Uthoff scoreda game-high 19 points to place the Hawkeyes to a 86-55 blowout at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Uthoff missed only shot from the floor (6-7), hit all six free-throw attempts and recorded the game's signature play.
With 8:15 left in the first half, Uthoff drove the baseline and vaulted above Penn's Cameron Gunter. Gunter got in the way, and Uthoff unloaded with a thunderous dunk. He scored nine points in the first half and added 10 after halftime.
Uthoff finished with four rebounds, two assists, two turnovers, a steal, a block and no fouls.
