Molyneux, Helen Lucille
Helen Lucille Molyneux, 91, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, at the Promise House in Hiawatha. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. Peter Mitchell will officiate with burial in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Helen was born Dec. 21, 1919, in What Cheer, Iowa, the daughter of James and Luella (Greenhalgh) Raplinger. Helen married Glen G. Molyneux on October 3, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. Glen passed away on September 27, 2009. Helen was a homemaker and worked part time for Weber Paint in Marion for 20 years. Helen was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed by many.
Survivors include her son, Wayne (Emma) Molyneux of Marion; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen; her parents; one brother; and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
