RoughRiders begin preseason schedule

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders have their first two preseason hockey games Friday night at Dubuque and Saturday night against Dubuque at the Coral Ridge Mall in Coralville. Opening faceoff both nights is 7:05.
The Riders are coming off a season that saw them win the Anderson Cup for most regular-season points in the league.
There are 10 returning players from that squad, including third-year players Nolan Zajac and Stu Wilson.
The RoughRiders host Waterloo on Wednesday night in a preseason game at The Stable, with a 7:05 starting time. The regular-season opener is Saturday, Oct. 1 at home against Indiana.
