Frederick, Steven Lloyd
Steven Lloyd Frederick, 57, died Monday, July 18, 2011 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 22, at Powell Funeral Home, North English. Burial will be in the South English Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Steven was born Sept. 2, 1953, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Edwin Earl and Betty Louise Hearn Frederick. He graduated from English Valleys High School in 1971. He worked for Multi-County Oil in North English for many years. He enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.
He is survived by a daughter, Brittany (Jereme Goltz) Van Zante of West Amana; a sister, Brenda (Johnny) Peppers of Blue Springs, Mo.; and five brothers, Fritz (Del) of North English, Craig (Becky) of Keota, Marlin (Jan) of Webster, Raymond of South English, and Brent (LeAnn) of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A general memorial fund has been established.
