Shoemaker, Drew A.
Drew A. Shoemaker, 46, of Coralville and formerly of Iowa City, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Iowa City. A gathering for family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Lensing Funeral Home, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City.
Drew was born Jan. 20, 1965, in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., the son of Glenn D. and Joellen (Moore) Shoemaker. He was a 1983 graduate of Iowa City West High School.
Survivors include his wife, Heather; son, Tyler; daughter, Kelsey; and his mother Joellen, all of Iowa City; a brother, G. Del Shoemaker of Camdenton, Mo.; a sister, Jill (Jason) Happel of North Liberty; one niece; and three nephews.
Drew was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents.
