DELBERT "DEL" ALLEN LENSCHOW
Des Moines
Delbert "Del" Allen Lenschow was born July 23, 1939, in Lowden, Iowa, to Hugo and Frieda Lenschow. He passed away Aug. 10, 2017, at his home at the age of 78.
Del worked as a real estate agent most of his life. He retired in 2016 from AIB. Del enjoyed gardening, flowers, yardwork, going to casinos and out to eat.
Del is survived by his children, Shelley (Darrel) Monk, Jeff (Jody) Lenschow and Cindy (Bill) Batzkiel; grandchildren, Ryan, Eric and Alyssa Monk and Ben, Madison and Sam Lenschow; brother-in-law, Bud Anderson; dog, Jasmine; and a host of extended family and beloved friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Rhonda; and his sister, Doris Anderson.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW Ninth St., Des Moines.
