Letter: Reader enjoyed Orchestra Iowa performance

What a wonderful experience it is to have the opportunity to be a subscriber to Orchestra Iowa! The beautiful strains of 'Missa Solemnis” that flowed throughout the Paramount Theatre on May 6 were almost mesmerizing.
Kudos to Maestro Timothy Hankewich, Orchestra Iowa, the Simpson College Choir, and the Des Moines Vocal Arts Ensemble. The extended standing ovation couldn't begin to express the pleasure of the gift we were given that evening. Beethoven would have been so proud.
