Here's the Clayborn video

I didn't make the mini-media day on Tuesday (vacationing). Courtesy of KCRG's John Sears, here's the statement from Iowa defensive end Adrian Clayborn that rankled Iowa State fans.
The question was how often do you get asked by fans who the Hawkeyes are going to be in 2010? Innocent question.
"Not too much, I actually just stay in the house," Clayborn said. OK, innocent.
"It comes with being a Hawkeye football player," he said. "We're the only team in the state as far as I know. It comes with being us, I guess."
OK, that's open to interpretation.
I can see and completely understand why ISU would take that as a slight. Iowa State is a BCS school that Iowa plays every year.
Watch the video. Clayborn's delivery was far from inflammatory. He followed a line of thought that everyone wants to know what the Hawkeyes are up to, which is truth in eastern Iowa.
Guess it depends on which side of the state you live on and what color your license plates are.
I'll leave it up to you to decide if this was a slight. Be open, be honest, but be respectful, please.
Iowa's Bradley Fletcher (29), Adrian Clayborn (94), and Jacody Coleman (55) try to bring down Iowa State's Alexander Robinson (33) during the third quarter of their game Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at Kinnick Stadium. Clayborn rankled Iowa State fans this week with a comment about Iowa being the 'only team in the state.' The video is below. You decide if it was an inflammatory statement. (Brian Ray/The Gazette)
